ITINERARY
At 8:00 am, we will pick you up from your hotel. We will then start driving over the Sacred Valley and the Andean Mountains. This drive takes 30 minutes or 2 hours, depending on the season. This is a beautiful route. Keep your eyes peeled while enjoying the outstanding mountain views with a few photography stops. Upon arriving at Poroy or Ollantaytambo train station, you will board a Luxury train, Hiram Bingham. There is service on board with food, drinks, music, and some history. The train ride is about two and a half hours long.
You will be arriving at Machu Picchu before you know it! We have a private shuttle bus waiting to drive 30 minutes to Machu Picchu archeological site. A full afternoon will be spent exploring the most incredible Inca Heritage site. Enjoy the tour and take photographs. This section of the tour will last about 3 hours.
After visiting this site, we will have tea at the Sanctuary Lodge Hotel near Machu Picchu. 5:00 pm A private shuttle bus will bring us back to Machu Picchu town and train station to board the train at 5:50 pm. Enjoy the train ride for 3 hours back to Ollantaytambo Train station. We will have private transportation waiting for you at the train station to take you back to Poroy or Rio Sagrado Hotel Train station; then by 10:30 pm, you will arrive at your hotel In Cusco.
