ITINERARY
Upon your arrival at Lima Airport, our team will be there to welcome you. We will then drive you to the Miraflores Park Hotel, a serene retreat near the Pacific Ocean. After a long flight, we understand the need for relaxation, and our comfortable accommodations will ensure you’re well-rested for the adventures ahead.
On day 2, we will explore the best of Lima’s history in Kings Barranco, the most ancient and colorful neighborhood. In the afternoon, there is more to explore at Larco Museum, where you can find a collection of the most fantastic pottery and art. Afterward you can return to the hotel in the late afternoon at your leisure.
We will pick you up from the hotel early to start our journey to the Andes. It is a one-hour flight to Cusco. Upon arrival in Cusco, we will greet you at the airport and drive over the Andes into the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Stating in the Sacred Valley will help you acclimate to the elevation changes. Our team will guide you through the acclimatization process, ensuring you’re comfortable and ready for the journey ahead. You will have a few stops at the Pisac Archeological site and lunch along the way. After lunch, we will head to the hotel in the heart of the Sacred Valley of the Incas for your overnight stay.
The day will start with breakfast. Our knowledgeable local expert is going to lead you through the magic of the history and archeology of the Andes. You will head to Ollantaytambo and Moray, both of which are UNESCO sites. We will stop for a farm to table lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch we will explore the Maras the Salt ponds. Then in the early afternoon we will head back to the hotel to relax and enjoy the location.
On day 5, we will start the tour in the late morning, with enough time to get on the train. The almost two-hour ride is an experience of a lifetime as the geography changes from the Andes to the cloud forest. Enjoy the ride while you have service on board. Depending on the type of train you take, you will check into the hotel upon your arrival to Machu Picchu town. Once you get settled in we will start our next adventure. You will explore Machu Picchu in the late afternoon, then head back to the hotel for your overnight stay.
After checking out of the hotel you will start your second day of exploring  every corner of Machu Picchu. You will have plenty of time for photos to ensure that it is a fulfilling experience at this wonder of the world. When finished exploring Machu Picchu we will head back to the town. You will be on your own for lunch, but we are happy to make recommendations if you like. Following lunch you will have time to explore Machu Picchu town before getting ready for the train ride back to Ollantaytambo and Cusco. You will spend the night at a hotel in downtown Cusco.
On day 7 you will explore another UNESCO archeology site. We will pick you up in the late morning from the hotel to discover Sacsayhuaman and Q`enqo. We will then take you to an alpaca farm to learn more about textiles and history. You will have time to feed the alpacas and enjoy the morning. In the late morning you can keep exploring Cusco’s Q`orichancha, the sun temple. When finished you can head back to the hotel for the night.
On day 8 of the tour you will meet our local chef to explore the San Pedro Market and the surroundings. Along the tour, we will meet the local vendors and learn more about the local crops, fruits, and vegetables that make the local economy. After a long morning, we will walk to our chefs’ kitchen to start with the magic of cooking the best Peruvian food, make pisco sours, and enjoy drinking the Peruvian delicacies. In the late afternoon you can head back to the hotel to relax.
We will drive to the airport according to your flight schedule, bringing the tour to an end.
