ITINERARY
On day 2, starting at 8:00 am, we will explore the heart of the Sacred Valley. We will visit Chincheros, Maras salt mines, and the Moray archeological site. The morning will be spent exploring these historical and traditional places to enjoy the local heritage and the landscapes that connect us with Mother Earth. A delightful farm to table lunch will be served at the local restaurant with views of the Andes. In the late afternoon we will visit the Ollantaytambo archeological site, UNESCO World Living Museum, and explore the colorful and historical town. After that you will check in at the train station and board the train to Machu Picchu town hotel, where you will be staying for the night.

In the morning on day 3 get ready to explore a wonder of the world, Machu Picchu. Your local tour guide, an expert in history and archeology, will take you through the most unique of the ancient world’s best views and the fortress that covers the magic city of Machu Picchu. You can rest assured that you are in good hands, with our knowledgeable guide providing you with all the information you need to fully appreciate the beauty and history of the ancient city. After enjoying every corner in Machu Picchu, we will drive back to Machu Picchu town. Once back the town you will be on your own for lunch, but we will be happy to make recommendations based on what you are feeling. After lunch you will head Ollantaytambo train station for a ride back to Cusco, where you will be staying for the night.
In the morning, we will explore the best sightseeing in the city, according to your flight schedule. We will cover as much as possible, visit Sacsayhuaman, Qoricancha, Q’enqo, and local San Pedro Market. After spending the morning exploring the city we will transport you back to the airport for your departing flight.
